Online Sales 101: Making Etsy Work for You (Paducah)

Creative businesses and online stores will not want to miss the tips and tricks for pulling down six figures with an online store. This half-day workshop with successful Etsy store owner, Kijsa Housman, will guide you through setting up, managing and operating an online creative business through Etsy. With an illustrated approach, Kijsa will share how her shop consistently turns a profit using tips and tricks from a decade of online sales.

Kijsa received her BFA in Painting from Baylor University, followed with graduate work to study historical techniques through Art History at Vanderbilt University. Her artwork and home design have been featured in several national magazines, from Mary Engelbrite’s Home Companion to Creative Home & Better Homes & Gardens. She has painted commissions from works on canvas across the country…to large scale murals for state government commissions…to Historic Mural commissions to set designs for PBS. With 20 years of professional art and design under her belt, her paint brush and design have touiched many sites, places and surfaces. She shares her journey currently by licensing her fine art and making creativity accessible at her new venture in downtown Paducah: MAKE.

Workshop will be held in the Paducah Bank Community Room, located downstairs at the Commerce Center, in cooperation with EntrePaducah.

Lunch will be provided. All participants need to bring is a notepad and burning questions!
