Entrepreneur Mixer – Social Media Night
January 22, 2019 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Here are two hours well spent: Enjoy drinks and appetizers with entrepreneurs like you, and walk away with concrete, tailored improvements for your specific company’s social-media presence.
Drop in between 5 and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, for the first Entrepreneur Mixer at Kentucky Innovation Station at 38 West Arch Street in Madisonville. It’s a networking mixer welcoming entrepreneurs and other local business leaders to share an evening to connect and learn. The event is free and open for current and future entrepreneurs, and no reservation is required.
The theme of the Jan. 22 Entrepreneur Mixer is social media. Kim Simons, the Business Administration Systems program coordinator at Madisonville Community College, will lead a team of social-media practitioners available:
• to assess your business presence on Facebook, Instagram and other platforms;
• to review your last six months of posts and discuss with you their effectiveness to achieve your business goals, and
• to offer actionable tips and insights specifically tailored to your business.
There are always areas of your social media and creative strategy that need some cleanup, and a fresh pair of eyes can be just the trick. The Jan. 22 event at Kentucky Innovation Station is a great opportunity for you. Or, if you do not want to participate in the assessment, please feel free to come and simply connect with fellow entrepreneurs! The Madisonville-Hopkins County Economic Development Entrepreneur Mixer has been designed for you, too.
